...as seen through the window of an abandoned farmhouse
on a cold and windy February day.

Doesn't this scene set your imagination in motion?

    1. I think those same things, Perpetua. I imagine it is often the case of an older person hanging on to a place she or he can no longer maintain--but refuses to leave. This one, actually, looked like it just got a brand new foundation. So I think better times are coming soon. ;o)

    1. I did not 'see' that at the time, but noticed it right away when I put it into my computer. ;o)

    1. Don't you love the wobbly, antique glass and what the light does to it? Our old farmhouse had that glass in all the windows. ;o)

  7. Dear Mike,
As Barbara says, this photo is like a Wyeth painting. Poignant. Evocative. Melancholy.

    Peace.
