The sun came out today.
It's been misty and grey and warm-ish for days.
A week or two early for traditional January thaw,
but nothing has been normal in the weather department lately.
Being colder than the air,
the ice-covered river set up a low, dreamy fog bank.
Only second stories were visible on the far shore.
The weather had already herded the ice fishing shanties
into a snug clump at the water's edge
...just in case a quick move was necessary.
The light was spectacular.
Thought you'd want to see.
You were correct. Very happy to see what's going on in your part of the world. Beautiful.
